First off, I'd like to know exactly who decided that preschool admissions open season should be in January. It's bad enough if you're interested at one of those schools that forces you to camp out in the parking lot for days. At Dulin Preschool, our impartial, democratic, and 100% indoors process isn't affected by weather, but we have no control over ice storms that shut down every school, public and private in the DC area.
