It's April. Do you know where your preschool is?

More accurately, do you know where your child is going to preschool? Perhaps you've been made to feel that if you can't answer that question, you're out of luck. This is Northern Virginia, after all -- home of the overscheduled child and pre-birth wait list, correct?

The truth is, many preschools start having openings at around this time. Between relocations, changing needs in childcare, and plans simply changing, a preschool population can be an ever-evolving thing. There is also a direct correlation between the increasing number of openings and a dwindling wait list -- due to the same reasons!

If you are interested in Dulin Cooperative Preschool but feel it's too late to hope for a spot, think again. We welcome your application at any time, and are happy to give you updates on where you stand on the list over the next few months. Don't believe us? Just ask our very own Membership chair, Ellen Brophy. Ellen herself was on the wait list for the 3s class until the August before school started.
